Description  

Develop and maintain relationships with external media providers, publications, news papers, News Channels, journalists & to be the main point of contact for all media enquiries. Organizing promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits. Liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives. To assist in the development and delivery of media and public relations plans, as part of our clients’ broader Marketing strategy. To develop & publish content for media & investor communication as well as corporate communications for internal & external dissemination, including online & print/press media. Create and deliver proactive and effective PR plans to promote our activities. This includes tactical and local campaigns, press visits and media relations and capitalizing on topical, relevant opportunities in the regional, national and local news media. Planning and executing publicity strategies, press conferences and campaigns with targeted print, broadcast and online media. Ensure key messaging opportunities are drafted and regularly disseminated to media/PR agency for various media placements. Constantly monitor and analyze press output and coverage achieved & review brand health across media and translating from regional languages to English. Exposure to working on multi language (Indian languages) websites across different search engines. Designing, writing and/or producing press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house’ journals, reports, information for web sites and promotional videos. Desired profile of the candidate Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience of producing press releases, copywriting and delivering presentations Should have a strong exposure in PR, Journalism & Communication Experience of developing, implementing and delivering communication strategies Experience of organizing corporate events Good IT skills with specific experience of using a range of social media platforms Experience of building and maintaining strong links with the media Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously At least a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field Education -Graduate in Mass Communication, Media, Journalism, Literature, or other relevant course and Post Graduate: MBA/PGDM – Mass Communication, Mass Media, Journalism, or relevant (Preferred however not essential) Experience required: 3-5 years Please note: Candidates having more than 8+ years of experience, IT Background and package of more than 7 lakh per annum kindly do not apply.
